The Koti Den



The Crevice of Katmai is the pack's den, and the usual RolePlay area. It's a dip in the mountains, creating a gentle bowl that the pack dwells within. The den is home to all of the members here at The Katmai Natives Pack, and each member has thier own perspective over the common area. Although only the strong survive among the mountains, this is the most adundant place on the peak.

[Marrok]

Marrok's eyes opened quickly as his optics flashed around in panic. Where am I? He got slowly to his paws as he looked around for Nakita. He realised he was in a den, he slowly got to his paws his breath slow and uneven. Am I dieing? No I'm weak from hunger. Where is the light? Oh I'm in a tunnel.... He began to move towards the light. His head popped out of the hole and felt relieved to see a familiar fae not far off. "Majors?" He asked, although he wasn't too close to her. He moved slowly, his fur sheding and Ubisoft, he was in need of water and food.

[Nakita]

Nakitas eyes quickly noticed marro and she got up and trotted over to him.She. Could see that he was hungry and thirsty so she told him him to go to the water while she hunted for food.Nakita spotted a snow hair and quickly killed it taking it over go marrok.She dropped it by his feet.
"Eat"Nakita said gently nuzzling him.

She had missed marrok and thought she would never see him again.

[Sharon]

Sharon yawned, and stretched. She looked around, tired, and lied back down again. 'Where is everyone?' She wondered, then saw Marrok and Nakita, and smiled at them.

[Okami]

Okami entered the den, hoping to meet most of the pack there. He saw three others there, but was a little intimidated to approach, reason being he was still new and knew only a few wolves, but they were nowhere to be seen. But Okami knew that he would never fit in the pack unless he took the initiative and introduced himself. With little hesitation, he walked up to the wolves. "H...Hi." he said with minimal struggle to speak.

[Sokea]

~*IHANA*~

The young pup waited curiously for her father to come and take her out, but now it seemed as though he was absorbed in something else. Her ears drooped and she sat down, disappointed. She would have to wait for him now, and she was already thinking she had waited too long. She waltzed back into the den site scanning through the various wolves. She didn't recognize anyone, except for Luna. She felt mischievous at the moment, and she crept up behind a grey she-wolf and a white and red colored he-wolf. She paused, doing a double take at the he-wolf's odd markings, then she giggled, hiding behind a rock. With mischief dancing in her eyes, she pounced, tackling the she-wolf's leg (Nakita) and then she jumped higher and tried biting the tail. But before anyone could do anything to her, she ran behind the rock again, giggling. She peered around the rock to see if they would chase her.
Now began the fun of puppyhood.

[Nakita]

Nakita smiled playfully, seeing ihana dart behind the rock.She went into playful mode creeping closer towards ihana.She leaped infront of the young pup smilling playfully, her rump in the air and her tail wagging.She tickled the little pups belly with her nose, being careful not to hurt her.

[Kendrick]

Kenny lowered his hind to the ground, allowing his tired bones to rest. He stared out towards the mountains. The place where he first arrived to this land and the place where he first met Sharon, who at first was just a stranger to him, then a friend, and now his mate. A small smile crept up his lips, " Good times" mumbled the brute. He slight raised his maw upwards, closing his gentle emerald eyes, the brute inhaled a huge whiff of the air. It smelled calm, and pure. Ken's ears twitched from distant sounds of other animals, and the packs gentle breathing. Opening his eyes back up, his strong gaze turned to a movement nearby, and saw that it was Ihana and Nakita. Kendrick chuckled softly at the two she wolves. "Such energetic gals" whispered Kenny, his gaze watched the two of them protectively. Turning his attention away from the two fae's, he briefly scanned around for anymore movements. Kenny's nostrils flared to the scent of a masculine wolf(Okami). Kendrick saw the male enter the den with hesitation and heard a brief word. Ken raised his eyebrows, wondering if he should go introduce himself to this new wolf.

[Chelsea]

Chelsea sighed deeply, then stood up. Her stomach growled a bit louder, pushing her to search for any nearby prey. Lowering her nose close to the floor, she sniffed, trying to catch any fresh scents. So far, none were near. The female growled lightly, then trotted on, away from the others.

[Okami]

Okami waited for a reply, but no one did. But his senses went off along with a twitch with his ear, the alertness that he was being watched. He scanned the area and noticed another wolf that he had missed (Kendrick). Okami folded his ears back, unsure of who he was or whether or not if he was of a higher class than him. But if Okami knew one thing, it was to avoid the eyes of others, for if usually meant a sign of aggression, and that was not something Okami needed right now, especially since he was still new to this pack. He just sat in his same spot on his hind legs, looking away from the male wolf, wondering if anything would change from his past life.

[Nakita]

Nakita heard the new wolf speak out and she went over to greet him.
"Hi, I am Nakita and you are?"Nakita said walking over to the new wolf.She sat down infront of him and wrapped her tail round her back legs.

[Okami]

Quickly looking up, ears still folded back for he was still hesitant, "I'm Okami." He said, feeling a little more relaxed now. His tense fur began to calm but did not know what her rank was, though her impression might have given it away that should could either be a guardian or a healer for others. "It's nice to meet you" said Okami, trying to make sure he doesn't do anything that would make him seem rude or cruel in anyway. In fact he was still shy, but that was not his fault. He gave her a small smile in the hopes of leaving a good impression.

[Chelsea]

Her tail hung motionless, as Chelsea lowered her head, catching the scent of a small hare. She grinned lightly, looking over to see it grooming itself helplessly. Prepare to be consumed she thought excitedly as she crept towards the hare. Her pace was slow, her pale eyes wide and focused on the ball of fluff. Taking a deep breath, coming as close as she could, the female leaped, opening her maw wide, and clamped them down hard once she felt the squirmimg prey in her mouth. Smiling with triumph, she swallowed the poor thing whole. This'll will keep my mind off of food for now she smiled happily, then slowly made her way back towards where Sharon and Luna were.

[Nakita]

Nakita smiled warmly at okami.
"Nice to meet you"Nakita said with a smile, trying not to seem threatening to him.
The fae sat down, her tail wagging and a smile on her face.She quickly caught a hair and offered it to okami, trying to make him feel welcome in the pack.

[Kendrick]

Ken saw the male wolf(Okami) looking away from him with his ears folded back. Ken understood the reason on why the male didn't make eye contact. The Proti Male saw a sudden movement in the corner of his eyes, and he quickly turned his gaze to what it was. Not to his surprise it was Nakita, who was making her way to the lone male. Kenny's fur bristled, it was his duty to watch over the group of wolves, whenever the Doyens were away. He was on his guard for any intruder that lurks in the terra, but Ken felt that this male wolf wasn't a threat to the pack at all. Seeing that Nakita was now near the male, Ken remained at his exact spot, watching. But he briefly switched his attention to a scent of fresh kill. He realized the scent was directed to Chelsea. "She must of had a small hunt" thought Kendrick, his emerald gaze continued to stare at Chelsea, Sharon, and Luna. He also had an eye on Ihana, he could faintly see her in the corner of his eyes, her white pelt matching the small patch of snow that covered the ground, and those dazzling icy eyes that filled with youth.

[Chelsea]

Chelsea looked up, surprised to see she was nearing the others again. A new scent brought her attention towards a male wolf, who seemed to be conversing with Nakita and Kendrick. She turned her pale gaze towards Kendrick, and greeted him with a small smile and nod. It didn't surprise her that another member had wandered into their territory. It was always nice to have new members. The female looked over towards Sharon and Luna, and smiled in greeting. Chelsea slowly walked over towards a small bush quietly and sat down, turning towards the new wolf. "Hello there.". she called out lightly, tilting her head.

[Okami]

Okami began to feel more relaxed as he was greeted more and more by other members of the pack. He looked at the hare with interest, he had not eaten for three days and took it with much gratitude. "Thanks" said Okami as he began to tear into the small but satisfying meal. He quickly finished his meal so as to not keep Natika waiting. But after he had finished eating, another pack member (Chelsea) had greeted him with a hello. He turned his head to face the she wolf and replied "Hi" in a friendly tone, but not as tense as he was before. "And you are?" asked Okami with a curios thought as he still had many questions as to who they are and what he should do for the pack.

[Chelsea]

Chelsea didnt feel like he was a threat at all. If he was, then Kendrick would have sent him on his way already by now. Her ears perked at his response. "Im Chelsea one of the jeagers of the pack, and you are?" she looked straight at him, not breaking her gaze.

[Okami]

"I'm Okami, I'm new to the pack. It's good to meet you Chelsea." Okami replied as he tried not to look into her eyes. "So is this where is everyone?" Said Okami as he looked around the den, expecting to see more members. But even as he looked away he could still feel Chelsea's gaze upon him, and a feeling began to stir inside him. But he wasn't sure whether to be uncomfortable or not. Making as to not make the situation awkward, he took a deep breath and loosened up. He knew there was no sign of aggression from the others, and he was now beginning to build a sense of trust.

[Chelsea]

Chelsea laughed slightly, and looked around. Where was everyone?.. she thought as she inspected the members near her. She hadnt seen Siren or Macy around in a while, or any others. In fact, ever since shes returned, shes only seen Sharon, Kendrick, their pup, and a few other females. "I actually dont know." she sighed turning to face him once more. "But dont worry, nobodys mean here." the female sighed and layed down, lowering her gaze onto the ground.

[Okami]

Okami wasn't sure if his sense were right, but he had a feeling that something was bothering Chelsea. "Is something wrong?" he asked her as he tilted his head slightly. Even though they had just met, his dedication to the pack was already being filled in, that didn't mean he couldn't care. He looked at her with concern, wondering what was going through her head.

[Chelsea]

It took Chelsea a few moments to respond, as her mind was somewhere else. "Oh no not really, its just that I haven't really seen any other members since I've returned. Im just wondering where they are i guess." The female responded looking up at Okami. She sighed and sat up.

[Nakita]

The grey fae awoke and looked up at the sun her furr warmed by it.She got to her feet and padded over to chelsea and okami.
"Hi"She said with a smile, happy to see some pack member.Recently pack member had dispeared and seeing some cheered her up.

[Chelsea]

Chelsea looked up towards Nakita, focusing her pale gaze on her and smiled lightly. "Hello Nakita." she nodded in response. "How have you been?" She added still gazing towards the other female, tilting her head a bit. Her tail twitched occasionally. The need to run or jump or do something was starting to distract Chelsea as she could not sit as still as before.
