The Koti Den



The Crevice of Katmai is the pack's den, and the usual RolePlay area. It's a dip in the mountains, creating a gentle bowl that the pack dwells within. The den is home to all of the members here at The Katmai Natives Pack, and each member has thier own perspective over the common area. Although only the strong survive among the mountains, this is the most adundant place on the peak.

Nankita smiled at north.
"who are you?"Nakita said to north friendly.
she wagged her tail slightly smelling the air, the wind blowing though her fur.

Macy wanted to talk to someone. She hadn't in forever. She felt alone. All she could see was white snow. Sighing, she stood up and began to walk over to the den in hopes that she could find someone to speak with. Maybe even just for a little bit. It didn't matter.

[Kendrick]

Taking his eyes away from Luna, Ken turned his gaze back to the sky. The brute enjoyed taking in the beauty of the sky, it was calming. He saw a flock of birds flutter away, flying further and further away from where the pack was at. "The birds are always on the move" he thought silently, to himself. A familiar and relaxing scent had entered his ebony moist nostril, and he immediately recognize who it was. Rotating his head 90 degrees, he saw a beautiful white wolf emerging out from the den.

"Kenny! You're back! I thought something happened!"

A huge grin formed on his lips and he responded back, "Yes Sharon.. I'm sorry to have worried you, I was just cooling off." Seeing Sharon sitting next to him and Luna, he lightly chuckled as she nuzzled and licked him. When she had stopped nuzzling him he saw Sharon, now speaking to Luna. Kenny took this moment to nuzzle his mate back, and gave her a playful nip on her ears. The taupe colored males tassels were swaying behind him excitedly, glad to have his mate beside him. He stopped his teasing and looked at each of the white colored she wolves. While watching the two wolves chat, he had sensed another presence of a pack member. Twirling his head to who ever it was, he realized it was Macy. He notice her walking towards the den.

"I am North. Nice to meet you Nakita." he said with a smile. His attention came glancing back at Misty. For some reason, he had an interest in her. But its North and his thoughts on romance can change day by day. The male yawned and he walked over to get water. It tasted great to him for some reason. The brute lied down and sighed, looking at Nakita and Misty and the sights around him.

Seeing both North and Kendrick, Macy gave them a nod in greeting. North was a past Proti, so she still respected him. Continuing to walk around, she flopped herself on the ground and watched the land around her.

[Sharon]

Sharon smiled and laughed as Kenny greeted her as well. "At least you are okay. " She smiled at the sweet male. She turned around and saw Macy, and smiled, greeting her. She turned back to Luna, then looked at Ihana as she paddled into the den. She shrugged, smiling, 'Maybe she is just tired...' then turned back to her mate, Luna and Macy. "So...are you guys hungry? " She popped up, hoping that everyone was.

[Chelsea]

Chelsea trotted a bit faster from the outskirts of the territory. She had been gone for a while and was glad to be finally returning home.I wonder if anything new has happened.. a small smile formed as she thought of new arrivals and more members. Her eyes looked up towards the sky, the sun making them glisten from its rays. But she quickly returned her focus back to the mountain. The snow seemed to have melted away even more, and the cool air felt good against her face. The female slowed down to a walk, she was almost home though. The scents were stonger than before. Chelsea smiled more with relief, and sighed.

North saw Macy walk past him. He smiled and nodded back. He kinda still had a thing for Macy, but knew nothing would happen. They were friends, so he thought. It had been a while since they chatted. Maybe he should go talk to her after he was done spending some time with other members of the pack. North sighed and rested his head on the ground. He didn't know what to really think anymore. Things were just coming and going as they pleased.

Smiling slightly at North, she remained where she was. Words could not describe her boredom. The snow was still lightly falling, which it had been for weeks, and nothing was changing. Some Newcomers were coming in, but she had not gotten the chance to greet most of them. She had been busy with her own things. Sighing, she rested her head on the snow, watching the members walk around.

[Luna]

Luna rises, not knowing where the time went. she stretches and then runs around a bit. she sees Macy and some others and walks closer. Luna tilts her head respectively towards the proti and sits down. when yawns wide and flicks her ears,

[Mistainia]

Misty noticed North's sigh. She saddened at this, because she hated when others were upset. She looked to the lake and bent her head to lap up a nice gulp of refreshing water. Mistainia looked back to North and hesitated. She sat down thinking of something that could remove his sighs. She looked into the mountains, "North. Would you like to go on a hunt?". She looked deeply for a good prey into the patch of trees, then inhaled to search for one by scent. She eventually looked back to North and thought while she was waiting for an answer. Misty really didn't know North's rank yet, but she assumed he could hunt, just as all wolves could.

[Nakita]

Nakita could hear his sighs and a slight frown fell on her face.
"Are you ok?"Nakita asked lowering her head to his face.She looked at him trying tok comfort him a little bit.

[Sharon]

Sharon smiled and looked over at Macy. She saw North, Chelsea, and Misty, and smiled at them. She could hear Luna waking up. Seeing Macy walk around, she smiled "Hey, Macy! I haven't seen you in a while! How are you doing? " She cheerfully asked.

North lifted his head. Nothing was really wrong with him. Or was there? He nodded at Nakita. "Yes, I am alright, thank you." he said softly. Then he turned his attention to Misty. His tail wagged. He hadn't hunted in forever. "Sure,I'll go hunt with you. Nakita, you may come along if you want too." he stood up and started to walk away from the females. Hunting always made him happy and his excitement was showing pretty well.

[Chelsea]

Her ears were perked towards the sound of voices. Their scents were recognizable, but Chelsea doubted she knew them. She walked a bit faster, eager to see her pack mates. The female's pale blue eyes were wide and glistening with excitement. Her tail wagged slightly as she neared closer to the voices. But she stopped and shook her head, changing her expression to serious and plain. Stop it Chelsea.. she scolded herself. Her head lowered as she peered around a tree, spotting a lake, and several pack members. Smiling lightly, she greeted them. "Hello there.

[Nakita]

Nakita followed north, and was happy to hunt she was hungry and needed a good meal.She thanked north for inviting her and trotted up to him, so they where now walking side by side.The wind was not that cold which was good but their was a slight snow drift.

Luna looks around but doesn't see anyone. she howls to see if anyone will respond. she shacks her fur and know she is kungry once more.

Sharon smiles and looks inside the den, to make sure that Nana is still inside. 'She must be tired, worn out a lot!' She smiled, then came back out. She heard a howl that seemed like Luna's and quietly howled back. She sat down, and looked around.

It had been years since Ironhide had lived in a wolf pack, one he could call home. He had been a lone since he was a pup knowing he never knew his parents. He wondered for days fending off other wolves and providing for himself as a lone wolf. He had had a meal and was looking for a place to rest when he stopped dead in his tracks. He had come across the borderline of unknown territory.. AS he scented the air he began to get cautious, as he continued trespassing on the ancient grounds. He spotted a den up ahead and froze, hackles raised, teeth bared in no response.

[Luna]

Luna was coming back from the cliffs and saw another wolf. guessing that from his stance that he had just arrived. " hey." she barked as she quickly approached the wolf.

Ironhide held he gaze on the she wolf. "Who are you stranger?", he ask demanding. "Who is in charge here?" Ironhide could see she meant no harm but was taking no chances.

[Luna]

"I am Luna, a raffen of the pack. the doyen Siren is the one in charge." Luna says to him while keeping her eyes on him. she sakes her fur before saying, " and who are you?"

[Kendrick]

Opening his eyelids back up, his emerald eyes revealed. The light of day shined bright in the horizon. Ken realized he must have dozed off into a long and rested deep sleep. Raising back up from the ground, he sat upright. Kendrick nostrils twitched, he scented an unknown figure nearby. A silent growl had erupted in his chest, Who could this loner be?

My name is Ironhide, I was just passing through", he said relaxing his tensed muscles. He skimmed the wolf for signs of agression but found none and forgot about it. He scented another wolf near by and became impatient as he stood his ground toward the raffen female.
