First topic message reminder :

Marrok had just caught a third hare when he was about to catch his fourth a brown pup alerted it and made it hop away down into its tunnel. Rising up from his crouch the massive brute of white fur and red markings glared at the pup, then his gaze cooled. He knew the pup did not mean to alert his prey with her hoping around chasing a yellow butterfly. Flicking his ear and raising his muzzle as his yellow eyes looked down at the pup, his tail flickered. "What are you doing here?" He asked the pup in a calm tone, as he had not seen the brown pup around here. Nudging a hare toward the pup guessing she may had been hungry, he then picked up his catch of two since he had given the third to the pup.

Amethyst looked over and saw a grey male (Tsume). She smiled when she saw that he was looking at the pup. "Isn't he just cute?" she asked softly towards Tsume. She then looked at Boulder and started led licking him again. He was just the perfect edition to the family. Arrow was now a father towards Boulder. That's all she wanted to think about. "He will be strong, won't he?" she wagged her tail happily back and forth.

~~Boulder the Newborn~~

Boulder was sound asleep near both his mother and father. He continued to suckle off of his mother's stomach. He couldn't really hear at this age, even though Tsume said Hi to him. He whined a little when he woke up a moment later.

Rad opened her mouth, her fangs shinning and yawned. She glanced at the bear cub, who was sound asleep. She softly growled at it, its snoring was starting to drive her crazy. and besides, The mother will come looking for it if she doesn't kick it out. "later" Rad muttered lazily. she sniffed the air, glancing towards the den site. "maybe i can pay amethyst a visit" Rad thought out load, already walking there.

The Koti Den - Page 30 Siggie12
Uncertainty and a collision of emotions battled in the fae, she knew not how to handle the situation with her kin. As much as she wanted to bring down revenge upon the brute there was still a flickering flame of sanity attempting to burn through the hate befalling upon it. For the past few days the fae felt out of reach, both physically and mentally, she had retreated back to the pool on various occasions to avoid the pack. At first she felt the guilt stab her for not being there for the pack but what was she meant to do, with the potential risk of caving into the darker thoughts, allowing them to engulf her very being leaving only a ruthless shell. It was a risk she could not take.

Tilting her head downward, the fae's crown remain exposed to the wind as she stared down blankly at her paws, watching them appear and disappear in the everlasting snow. The rhythmic motion allowed the fae to think about matters concerning her kin's fate, but what punishment would be just for her brother and the pack. Both sides had suffered from the day and now the matter continued to remain unresolved, brewing like a poison waiting to be administered. Shadow had seen the ways the pack handled loss; some moved on while others hid their sorrow, the ones that secreted their emotions worried the ivory tinted femmora. They would be the ones to seek justice and live with the consequences if they resorted to excessive measures. Shaking her head slowly to clear her mind back to an unmarked slate, the fae lifted her glacial optics to find herself perched upon the steep rise close to the den. Her absence from reality had guided her pack to the den as if telling her she was ready to return, to replace the blank expression with a mask, just as she had done once before when Solace had disappeared.

Post by Guest Tue Oct 01, 2013 3:37 am

hearing Dark and Tsume come and go and congrates them did Arrow get up. He knew that his mate was hungry and she needs the food to make the milk for boulder witch is a big fella and would be eating more. So Arrow got up gave Amethyst a lick on the nose as well licked boulder on the back before going on a hunt. walking to the close hunting grounds did he find a moose. stalking closer to it and running up to it by surprise causeing it to cry in panic. running beside as he niped its back leg deeply. causeing blood and agony to tip the moose over. grabing its neck to bite on the windpipe killing it. Dead. draging the moose to the den, luckly it was very close to it for it was a very big bull. seting it down and ripping off two large chunks and two more at a desent size did he trott back to the den. entering he gave the two large chunks to amethyst "here it this" and gave one to Kiba whom was next to him "there you go" and ate the one left for him. licking his chops did Arrow remember his gift to boulder. taking off the chain with gewls and a black white and red flower in the midlle of it he put it over him. its was a little to big but that was good then he can grow into it, smileing did he add "there now you look likea wolf from your Grandfathers pack." he knew that he could not be heard by him but atleast he could be smelled. laying down and watching both Amethyst and Boulder as the self and fed in a protectiv manner. ears alert did he fall into a very light slumber waking at every sound he heard.

Post by Amethyst Tue Oct 01, 2013 7:25 am

Amethyst woke up the next morning and gave a big yawn. Today was indeed another day. She noticed that Arrow had gone too get some food. She loved how he was a Jeager. He was always good at hunting. Amethyst then looked back at her pup, Boulder. He was getting big. But not big enough. She imagined Boulder as a Jeager like his father. Since Dark did tell her about that Boulder was going to be a strong wolf. She gave Boulder a few licks and heard him whining. "It's okay, Boulder... Daddy will be back with food very soon... I might be running low on milk for ya... So that's why it's important for me to eat so you can get the nutrients that you need..." She spoke in such a soothing voice to him. Moments later, Arrow had came back with some elk. Amethyst happily at her feed and she wasn't hungry anymore. Now she could focus on making more milk for Boulder. He gently suckled off of her stomach and he fell right back to sleep.

~~Boulder the Newborn~~

Boulder suckled on his mother's stomach, getting his feed. He pawed gently on her, knowing it was the best way of getting the milk out more and more. He soon fell asleep once his stomach got full. He was licked on his head and back from his mother. Making sure he was completely safe.

Dark was silent as his head hung down, facing the ground. His mind was surprisingly empty. Dark felt his claws sink into the ground as he remained quiet and contained. Suddenly his mind was filled with thoughts about finding and being reunited with his brother. His eyes opened as he looked up. "Perhaps one day..." Dark sighed as he stood up and continued patrolling.

Rad smiled as she walked into amethyst's and arrows den, the usual coldness wrapping around her fur. she sniffed uncertain, there was a new scent in the cave, much like arrows and amethysts scent. She walked next to amethyst, being careful not to surprise them. A brownish greyesh pup was suckling amethyst. hmm, so amethyst has finally gave birth. Rad sat down next to her, noticing how large the pup was.

Amethyst licked Boulder with care. Slowly did her tongue glide down his head and down his back. She wanted to make sure he was comforted. She then looked at her mate and smiled at him. Moments later, a redish brownish wolf (Rad) came into the den. "Hi Rad..." she said quietly so as not to awake Boulder, since it looked like he was sound asleep. "Isn't he just the cutest thing? Although he might be big for his size... I'll tell ya... It was a whole lot of work pushing him out... Now I finally get to see him...". Amethyst's voice was quite soothing. She looked at Rad again and smiled. Her tail curled around her pup to keep him warm. She put her head near her mate for more comfort.

~~Boulder the Newborn~~

Boulder continued to suckle as he slept deeply. Parts of pink beneath his fur could still be seen. He didn't notice anything yet. All he could notice was scents that he was able to recongnize quite well. He slept happily and deeply as he continued to grow more and more. Both his parents knew that he was going to be quite a strong wolf when he grows up.

Yawning as Arrow heard the paw steps of his friend Rad. Opening his eyes fully to see the reddish brown wolf. "Hey Rad nice to see you again, how have ya been?" He asked the fae in a hushed whisper as to not wake the slumbering Boulder. He thought Amethyst could do with being out in the sunshine for a few minutes. To stretch out herself, while Arrow had a little father and son time then come right back. Doubtful about that did he get up and walk around "I'll be right back, I just want to stretch out my limbs." He told Amethyst in a whisper. Walking out of the den did Arrow see the moose he had hunted earlier he grabbed a huge chunk for his mate. Turning around he seen the ivory pelt of Shadow. Walking up to her did her tell her about Boulder and Amethyst and how she would love to see her before he stopped knowing somthing was wrong. "You ok?" He looked at her as he waited for a reply.

The Koti Den - Page 30 Siggie12
Gaze level, tail risen slightly above the snow, the ivory hued femmora padded down the steep decline, making her way steadily to the unmistakable outline of the den. As she drew closer the aroma of the deceased prey filled her nose and yet she was not tempted to seek out a meal. From the darkened abyss a russet tone brute emerged silently, on light paws as if not wishing to startle a sleeping wolf. The fae flicked her sleek white banner in a silent greeting and averted her gaze toward the den, Shadow could scent wolves hidden within the depths, resting in the warm embrace the shelter had to offer. Arrow's deep, concerned tone drew her attention back to the brute, for a moment she met his pale emerald eyes and saw the worry within their pools. Silently the fae shook her head and dipped her muzzle downward to stare at her paws. "I cannot say I am okay," the fae said, her flanks rose and fell as she exhaled a sigh, "nothing is really okay."

Chelsea sighed, turning away from the stranger she walked off. Her pale blue eyes scanned the small area. The scent of a new arrival was heavy, fillinf her nostrils. She smiled lightly, feeling the small yearning for a family, but ignored it and continued on. The female didn't know what to do, hunting wasn't really in her interest at the moment, maybe she could wander around for a bit. I guess ill do that.. then hunt.. she lifted her head looking up into the bright sky. The cool breeze brushed up against her, Chelsea sighed once again. The air felt perfect now. Orr maybe ill hunt.. she thought lowering her head and going off at a trot to the plateau.

CHEMICAL
------------

Violence is my middle name

The large brute woke up with a start, standing to his feet quickly as though someone had jumped on top of him while he had slumbered.
Slumber.
He could not recall doing so such a thing. If he ever slept (One could hardly call it sleep), it was a fitful sleep. A sleep troubled with horrifying images. Oh, how Chemical longed for normal, peaceful sleep. But it could not be so. He was cursed to be reminded of his memories every night, until his high hopes of a long slumber vanished on the claws of freezing wind that often tore through his green and white pelage.
He shook out his fur restlessly, his green eyes dull. He felt as a hostage in this pack. For all they could kill him, and they would have done him a favor. Indeed, they had their rights for keeping him prisoner. He had killed one of the pack's members on impulse, but for all he knew he was no better than a vampire bat. He believed he just fancied the taste of wolf blood, and killed for nothing more, nothing less.
Lying down and resting his large muzzle on his paws, his mind fluttered away from his body. What was there for him to live for? Depression and deep despair filled him and he lurched to his feet. Staggering for a bit, his paws carrying him in a direction he was not sure he would like, he began trotting away. His eyes were glazed, and he stumbled over every stone possible. Unable to see direction, and confused by his surroundings, he suddenly felt the ground give way under his paws. His muzzle opened into a soundless cry as he clung desperately with his front paws to the cliff edge, he could see two people fighting on top of the cliff. His paws slipping, and unmistakeable peace inside him, he fell four feet to a stone ground. He winced with pain as the air was knocked out of him. Writhing for a moment, he felt air coming to his lungs. Gasping, he felt joy fill him, followed by quick despair as heavy paws land on his chest. The shadowed figure snarled in his face.
Then, all was still.
"Chemical..."
The huge male froze, his heart pounding with fear he had never felt. A dreading fear.
"Chemical..." Came the soft whisper.
"Who's there?" He croaked pitifully.
"I forgive you. Be at peace."
Frowning, he turned.
He was staring at frosty blue sky, a cliff edge under his paws.
He was still in The katmai mountains.

Post by Chelsea Tue Oct 01, 2013 11:33 pm

Her ears flickered as the sound of movement startled her from behind. Chelsea stopped in her tracks now a small distance from him, but she could now see that the stranger was awake. She growled lowly, more like a huff and walked back. "Great your awake." she spat sitting down a distance from him. "Now do we need to babysit you or are you fine on your own? You won't attack any more of our members?" she said narrowing her eyes at the stranger. She didn't care to know his name at the moment. Then again she didn't care at all. She felt no pity for the loner, only hate. She doubted that would ever change. And if it did she would be surprised.. shaking her head she sat waiting for a response.

"Well is there anything I can do for you? " Arrow suppressed asmile on his maw "I think all you need is a little help from a friend. What are you lost or angry about?" He looked at Shadow seeing she maybe hungry he gave the chunk to her that was for Amethyst. "Im a good listener, you can trust me. And I think I should pay you back for helping me out too." He looked at the ivory coated fae for a reply with his mysterious icy green eyes.

The Koti Den - Page 30 Empty Re: The Koti Den

Post by Amethyst Wed Oct 02, 2013 8:51 am

Amethyst woke up. It was another day. Sunlight shone through the large den. She gave a yawn and looked at her pup. She smiled at him as he seemed to whine. She licked him gently to calm him down. She felt that she needed something to eat. But she couldn't leave the pup all by itself. She felt worried. If she didn't eat, she wouldn't make enough milk for he pup. Therefor, the pup wouldn't get its feed. Amethyst longed for food more and more. She looked around for her mate. He had gone out of the den to do something. She sighed, hoping that she would get some food soon. Her tail wrapped around the pup. She could get Arrow's scent from a distance. But where was he? She licked her pup another time through and looked out into the distance. She gave a slight whine, hoping that Arrow would hear her.

~~Boulder the Newborn~~

Boulder awoke feeling hungry. He couldn't suckle for milk unless his mother had eaten. He whined as he squirmed around trying to get his feed of milk. He felt as his mother glided her warm tongue across his back, comforting him. He tried falling asleep again, but he kept squirming around, telling his mother that he was very hungry.

The Koti Den - Page 30 Siggie12
"It's just all the recent events," the fae muttered, her gaze fixed upon her pale paws as she replied. A part of her desired to tell the russet wolf what lingered in her thoughts, to relieve the pressure and silent agony, but she knew many had duties of their own to attend, their own issues. Lifting her glacial hued optics off the snow to meet Arrow's gaze she could see the glint of mystery gleaming against the ice green pools of his orbs. His light tone seemed to shatter through the thin veil of haplessness that engulfed her leaving only the happier memories in the place of those that lurked upon the surface. A smile etched onto her maw as she spoke, "yes Arrow, I know I can trust you, I suppose it's just such a long tale, not worth fretting over now. Has everyone eaten already?" The fae asked abruptly eyeing the meat resting upon the snow, the fae had to prioritize the pack and return back into her old habits. Thinking about the pack stirred up the memory of her kin, he was somewhere about, and as much as the fae loathed the snow white brute she also missed his presence. Feeling a light touch on her ear as if by one who was attempting to speak the fae quickly averted her attention away from her thoughts, hoping to distract herself and to let the creature sleep. "How have you been feeling?" Shadow asked Arrow. As much as she wanted to rid the emotions, it was time to move on, to attempt to suppress the swords of sorrow and hatred.

Post by Dark Wed Oct 02, 2013 12:26 pm

Dark had finally came back from patrolling, finding nothing. He sighed then yawned loudly, stretching as he did so. He looked around for a quiet spot to sleep at, padding over when he found it. Dark yawned again and laid down, scanning the area quickly with his red eyes. Thoughts about his brother came back to his head, thinking of how his brother would look now. "Only time will tell..." he sighed, "Perhaps one day..." he said for the second time before laying his head down and going to sleep.

The large brute snapped his attention as he heard a loud and angry call. His turned, his hackles rising as he heard the accusations. He longed to lash out at this arrogant female. She had no idea what he was suffering. Staring her straight into the eyes, he opened his maw for a angry retort, but none came. He felt slightly embarrassed. He couldn't even stand up to a shouting female. Closing his gaping muzzle as to not look like a gaping idiot (Although he already looked like one), he let a quiet growl flow through him. Open his muzzle once more, he found his voice to reply, with a rather calm anger.
"Babysit? Hmph. Tell me, should I jump off this cliff?" He asked the female, his voice unconcerned as if it were the most normal question ever. But in truth, he was waiting. He was waiting to see her open hostility, to convince himself that nobody liked him. Not even his sister did. He looked at his paws. What was happening to him? He was turning into a soft little male. He sighed. The world was as dull as a crow. Why was he here? What purpose did he serve? He looked at his paws. The echoing voice filled his mind.
'I forgive you. Be at peace...' He most certainly wasn't at peace. What would it take for him to be at peace? To be normal, calm, happy like other wolves?
To forget, and live on?

"im ok, what a nice pup you have" rad says quietly, leaning closer. her ears flickered to the many conversations outside the den. Rad sighed, she was alone, she had no real friends, and she doesn't even know hows she's important, since she had been sitting around lately. then she remembered her rank, and how she must do what she is ranked. "good bye, many wishes to boulder!" Rad barked, slowly walking out of the den. Rad quietly growls to herself. what could she do? the pack its pretty much ok, mostly we only needs the jeagers to do their thing. she snorted and sat down, her tail flicking.

Amethyst smiled at Rad. "Thanks. I bet Boulder will grow up big and strong". She then watched as Rad left the den. She watched her go out and lay outside. "Oh, and thanks about wishing me luck with Boulder!" she said happily. She then turned her attention towards the small sleeping pup. She licked him with care, her warm tongue gliding slowly down from the pup's head, all the way down to his tiny tail. Repeating this multiple times, the pup drifted into a deep sleep. She put her head next to him, wishing that her mate was with her. She missed him being with Boulder also. She gave a sigh as her muzzle turned up towards a smell. She still felt hungry. She gave a small whine and hoped for the best.

~~Boulder the Newborn~~

Boulder slept deeply as he felt the warmness of his mother's tongue across and down his back. He began to whine after a few moments. He wasn't really getting enough milk. He pawed gently against his mother's stomach, hoping for more milk. After a while, he went back to sleep. Maybe he could go just a little but more without the milk.
