First topic message reminder :

Marrok had just caught a third hare when he was about to catch his fourth a brown pup alerted it and made it hop away down into its tunnel. Rising up from his crouch the massive brute of white fur and red markings glared at the pup, then his gaze cooled. He knew the pup did not mean to alert his prey with her hoping around chasing a yellow butterfly. Flicking his ear and raising his muzzle as his yellow eyes looked down at the pup, his tail flickered. "What are you doing here?" He asked the pup in a calm tone, as he had not seen the brown pup around here. Nudging a hare toward the pup guessing she may had been hungry, he then picked up his catch of two since he had given the third to the pup.

The Koti Den - Page 26 Empty Re: The Koti Den

Post by Cinder Fire Wed Sep 25, 2013 7:59 pm

Cinder quietly hide under bushes eating some pieces of the deer while seeing a bear run away. Why is that bear bloody and running away, Cinder thought as she ate. She made a little sound and the bear quickly turns its head to her. Cinder bend her head slowly to the grass as possible protecting prey in her jaws. The bear stood still as it stared it her. Cinder had enough and she raised her back fur and tail, snarled and chased the bear away. The bear ran away and she thought, why didn't the bear fought back? Cinder shrugged her shoulders and walked to her feast.

Cinder Fire wrote:Cinder sees a male deer. She stalks it slowly and then in seconds she dashed towards him. Every seconds Cinder gets faster. Getting closer, she jumped on his back, knocks him down with her weight and she sinks her claws into him ripping his throat with her teeth. Her powerful jaws sliced his throat. She eats half of him and then the drags to rest to the pack hoping to bring positive energy. In the den, Cinder she turns to the wolf who needs it most, Amethyst, who has a pup arriving. She drops it in front of her and smiled.
Amethyst lifted her head for a minute to see a black female wolf, carry her some elk. She smiled as she slowly got up and proceeded to the carcass. She slowly sank her teeth into the carcass, tasting all the juices and chewing the meat very well. She then saw that Cinder had left. She could thank her when she saw her again. She finished her meal in about 10 minutes. She felt full and decided to relax by laying on her back. She rolled over so her stomach was facing upwards towards the den ceiling. Her tail curved to one side and swaying back and forth very slowly. She then started to feel another contraction coming. Remembering to stay relaxed, and relax deeper, she began to breathe deeply. In... And then out... Although they were quite strong, she still had to deal with it. "Only a few more days of this..." She thought to herself. She missed her mate. She just wished that he was with her. "Arrow... Where are you my love..?" She said out loud but very soft at the same time.

Cinder walks back in the den seeing Amethyst. She stared at Amethyst's stomach. She turned the other way to not make it it seem that she was staring at her. Wow, her stomach is getting big, Cinder thought. She walked to the corner of the den to rest her legs.

The Koti Den - Page 26 Siggie12
Sharply turning away from the charcoal wolf, the fae strode away from the scene of the previous battle hoping her message to the Pranice had been clear. Hiding her wounded shoulder, the fae bit her tongue, the sharp sparks of agony pulsing through her with every step. Casting a sly glance over her shoulder, the fae's gaze flicked over the remaining wolves to assure herself she was not being followed. Skirting around the base of a steep crescent rise, the fae slowed her brisk pace once out of sight and eyed her wounded shoulder. The puncture wounds from the bears teeth stood out amongst her pale fur, the ivory tone losing the battle to the crimson hue engulfing each strand of hair as it trailed down her frontal paw. Wrinkling her nose at the scent of her own blood, the fae grinded her jaws together as she proceeded alongside the cliffs face, slowly making her way in the direction of a small waterfall, dropping down from the small height and colliding with the small pool at the base.

Dark's torn ear flicked at the Proti's reply. He sighed quietly and turned his head towards where the Bear had taken off. He couldn't help but growl quietly before beginning to patrol around the area, making sure there wasn't any signs of anything else intruding in on the territory. His claws sank into the ground with each step he took, his tail dragging across the ground.

Rad quickly glanced around, panicked. I could keep them in secret... she thought, examining the smallest of the three cubs. When she was a loner, she will study things for awhile to make up lost time. one of the study's was examining mother bears, and how they keep care of the young. She was surprised when she saw that the skinniest was the quietest, she would of thought the skinniest would be begging for food all the time. she studied the mother bear and her cubs for about a month, until humans shot and killed the mother bear and her cubs. Rad picked up the smallest one by the scruff, to see how how heavy it was. It was heavier then she thought, and she was left panting quietly. she carried the cub to her cave, where it was unlikely other wolves could smell it, since her own scent will cover it. she padded into the cool cave and dropped the cub in the very back of it, where it was very hard to see. she froze as the cub started whining, its cry echoing in the whole cave. She quickly lied down by it and tried to calm it down, her eyes gleaming in hope and panic.

Post by Amethyst Thu Sep 26, 2013 6:07 pm

Amethyst opened one eye as the echoing sound of what she thought of another wolf was alarming inside of the den. She perked her ears and listened carefully to what it might be. Her muzzle turned up to smell the air. It didn't smell like a wolf at all. The scent was quite strong. She let out a growl, thinking it might be an enemy. She slowly got up, the noise still going on, and looked behind her. The sound was louder that way. She couldn't see anything though. "I could've swore I heard a sound un-wolffish..." She growled lowly. Turning around to lay back down, she relaxed again, remembering about the pup that she was going to have in a few days. It seemed like two days to her. Maybe she was experiencing time distortion. She scoffed and slowly closed her eyes, falling back asleep.

Rad got up and quickly padded out the den, hopping the cub's calls wouldn't reach the den site. Rad quickly ran to where the dream berrys's were and ripped off a branch, juice dripping onto her muzzle. she quickly ran right back, stumbling over rocks and roots. she dropped the branch in front of the cub, hoping it would eat it. It did, getting purple juice everywhere. when it finished, it made a strange sound that sounded like burping and it waddled to the opening of the cave, purple juice in its paw prints. the cub sniffed the air once or twice, then waddled back to the branch to eat some more. Rad chuckled, she thought it was cute, the way the cub tried to hold the branch with its paws was funny. She yawned and went to the opening of her cave and sat down, guarding it.

Cinder's eyes opens as she hears a bear sound. Her fur bristles as she turns around to explore her surroundings. As she gets closer, her fur bristled more as she quietly tip toe. Cinder bends her ears and showed her fangs. The scent went into her nose and she ran quickly to the location. There she saw Rad with a bear cub. Rad! she said quietly in a sharp voice, what is that bear doing here? Cinder walks closer trying to sniff the bear waiting for rad's answer.

Rad growled and jumped in front of cinder, blocking her path "does matter? get out of my cave!" she snarled, her tail straight up. she felt silly, guarding a bear cub that is not her problem. but after all, you only live once. "Why won't you mind your own business!" she added, slight regret in her voice. she hoped that cinder wouldn't tell anybody. which was unlikely, since Rad was unlucky the day she was born.

Sorry I yelled snarling defensively, that scent reminds me of my past! I did not even know that was your den, Cinder said rolling her eyes at Rad's attitude. I turn to walk away, making a little humph sound. She walks to the river hoping hoping to get rid of her attitude.

The Koti Den - Page 26 Empty Re: The Koti Den

CHEMICAL
------------
Violence is my middle name

The males paws pounded on the ground as he walked forward. His eyes held a sinister look and his tongue dripped with drool. The wolf's pelt was tight against his large body, and you could see him ribs clearly. His muscles rippled through his thin pelt as he walked. Prey ran from his humongous paws, and could rarely get away from his speed. His weight and strength finished them off in one quick blow. But hungry grabbed him on this spring days, and he found himself often in a wolf pack's territory. He snarled. Wolf's should not have packs. Wolf's were lone, they were made to be proud survivors. And today, he knew what he had to do. If he could not catch his own food, he would take from those who could. That was why he was walking straight toward the pack's camp, which he could smell by all the wolf scent. He had crossed the borders without a thought, without a care. He could take them all if he liked.
He crouched as he got close to the camp. A twig snapped under his powerful paws, but he did not care. He was invincible.
His eyes shone hungrily as he spotted a hare carcass laying nearby. His green eyes spotted a pup ambling around, and licked his lips. Then he changed his mind.
'The hare would be an easy meal to get!' He thought, sneering as he thought this pack defenseless.
They had no clue he was there.

IHANA
--------
The Wache

The young white fae stretched in the beautiful morning sun as she did so often. She shook her pelt as normal, her eyes glinting in the sun light and her features holding back waves of energy as she struggled not to prance off to the unknown, with the wind in her fur and the ground rolling beneath her swift paws.
But today was different.
Today there was a smell of danger, a feeling in her skin that danger was abroad. Her eyes skidded from left to right, searching her surroundings for any sign of peril. A sound of a twig met her ears, and her swerved towards the noise, dread filling the bottom of her stomach. A sight met her eyes that made her gasp for breath.
A humongous wolf with strange green markings was standing, staring. She followed his gaze and found it led to Akita, Marrok and Nakita's pup. Her heart raced and she bounded up to the wolf, her ears flat against her skull, her teeth bared in a snarl.
"Who are you, and what do you want?"

CHEMICAL
------------
Violence is my middle name

Chemical snarled, taking in the sight of a tiny white body before him. He stared at the she -wolf, a sneer on his lips. She was small, but he could see muscle rippling through her pelt. This surprised him for a moment, then the surprise vanished. She would not get past him, nor would she beat him easily. He lifted a large paw, batting her to the side as though she were nothing but snow before him.
"Out of my way, pup!" he mocked, his eyes glowing with the fire he had run from that had pushed him to this pack's territory.

IHANA
--------

The Wache

Ihana scrambled to her feet, blinking astonishment to see the he-wolf more than five feet away from the spot she had stood in front of him, nearly nose to nose. Doubting fears rose in the pit of her stomach, and her stomach swirled until she felt sick. She tried desperately to push her fears away, and she managed to push them far enough for her to manage a furious snarl. She reminded herself of his words of mockery.
"Out of my way, pup!" her eyes glinted with hostility, her fears turning to pure anger. She crouched, pouncing quickly, willing him to be surprised. She landed squarely on his shoulders. She dealt him a few sharp blows before dodging to the side swiftly. She could tell he was large, and saw it would be hard for him to move well, and couldn't be as swift as her, with her small agile body. She, quick as lightning, was back on his back, biting large tufts of fur from his scruff with menacing growls.

CHEMICAL
------------

Violence is my middle name

Chemical howled, enraged. He twisted, but was unable to catch her at any point. Twisting suddenly, remembering moves he had learned from his father, he reared. He turned, knowing the she-wolf could not have hung on without claws. He felt drool dripping from his maw, and his back burned where fur had been pulled out.

IHANA
--------

The Wache

Ihana squeaked with surprise as she tumbled off his back, falling with a sickening thud. She felt the air in her lungs leave her, and she thrashed, trying to gasp air into her lungs. Her limbs felt sore already, with her battle only just begun. She felt a small bit of air enter her gaping muzzle, and she savored it, willing more to come.

CHEMICAL
-------------

Violence is my middle name

The large male sneered as he saw the thrashing of the small body. She was a worthy but small opponent. He placed his paws on her chest heavily but securely, pressing all his weight onto the small frame. He pushed his muzzle into hers, the venom of hatred shown in them. He curled his lip distastefully.
"Give up yet, little pup?" he jeered.

IHANA
--------

The Wache

Ihana writhed under the weight, and the joys of breathe turned to the fear of death. She felt her ribs trembling under the weight, and wasn't sure for how long they would hold. She gasped in a raspy breathe before replying with a voice that sounded like metal scrapping against a rock. She heard no sound coming from her muzzle, and she wheezed pitifully before forcing herself to speak audible words.
"You can't win." she croaked.

CHEMICAL
------------

Violence is my middle name
The male scowled. Were there no end to her words? They were not useful, look where they had gotten her now! He growled ferociously, a cruel smile forming on his dripping maw.
"Try me, small one!" He snarled. He bent his head, feeling pleased as his teeth met her throat. He dug his teeth far into her thick neck fur until she felt skin, and he bit down, holding tight to his prey.

IHANA
--------

The Wache

The small fae gasped as a terrible pain surged through her body. She shook uncontrollably and spots appeared in her usually clear, pretty blue gaze. Her eyes glazed and she closed them, the pain growing harder and harder. Then altogether, the pain was gone. Her eyelids opened, and she stared into blackness.
'What happened?' She wondered. The a picture appeared before her.
She was suckling on her her mother's stomach, and she looked up into her loving amber gaze. Then she saw her father watching her affectionately as she took her first steps. She saw her uncle's warm gaze as he wrapped his body around her to keep her petite body warm. As her life drained from her, she saw her life in a movie before her. She saw things that happened, and saw herself with pups. Her heart throbbed as she watched the pups play, and herself licking their small heads. The pictures faded suddenly, and turned to grassy hillsides filled of flowers. She stared in awe at the beautiful scenery. There were mountains, and a cool breeze. A crystal clear lake in front of them. She stood, sniffing the pristine air. There seemed to be prey at every corner. She bounced joyously through the flowers, bounding over rocks and flowers.
"Hello!" called a gentle voice. Ihana turned abruptly, her hackles raised.
She saw a black she-wolf, about the same age as her, standing and watching her with a similar blue gaze. She was smiling, and her pelt was clean and slick.
"Who are you?" She asked cheerfully.
Ihana took a step forward. "I'm Ihana, daughter of Kendrick and Sharon."
The black female's ears pricked. "Sharon had a pup?"
Ihana stared at her with surprise. "You knew her?"
"Yes, I did. When I was alive anyway. She healed one of my paws before..." The black she wolf stopped.
Ihana blinked. "Before what?"
The she-wolf looked at her in the eyes. "Before I died."
"How did you die?"
"I fell off of a cliff when Macy and Siren were fighting." She shook her head. "Macy was mad at me."
Ihana's heart lurched suddenly. "Wait, if your dead and your here, does that mean...?"
The female nodded somberly. "Yes, dear."
Ihana looked at her, mystified. "Who are you?"
The black female laughed and her blue eyes danced. "I'm Aaka, the Nerabi when I joined, and the Saimoor at my death. Now come, lets go have some fun!"
And they ran away toward the mountains, all sorrows forgotten.

Post by Brightbane Thu Sep 26, 2013 7:37 pm

Rad stood stiffly as cinder padded away. She sniffed the air, surprised that she had found her den. as far as she knew, no one knew where it was yet. A strange scent entered her nose. No, not the bear cub's scent, but a scent of a wolf. It was coming from the den site. she padded a few more steps away from the cave to get a better smell of the wolf. Rad yelped loadly then growled. the smell of death was there too, one of the pack members had been killed. "i need to warn somebody!" she barked, running carefully towards the scent of the lone wolf.

Chelsea lifted her head, the day felt weird, an emptiness crept through the area, but she couldn't figure out what it was. She trotted away from the den towards the plateau, still trying to figure out what it was, but couldn't. Shaking her head, she thought about hunting again, but immiediatly crossed that idea out and rolled over in the soft grass. A cool breeze caused her to shiver, but an opening in the area allowed the sun to warm her. She sighed closing her pale blue eyes.

The Koti Den - Page 26 Siggie12
Cautiously approaching the pool, the fae gingerly stepped upon the ice, testing its strength against her weight. Limping forth, she shuffled closer to the centre, beneath her the ice creaked threatening to send her plummeting into the frigid waters secreted under the fragile layer of glass like ice. Slowly lowering her frame downward, the ivory fae's fur brushed against the ice as she crouched and extended her paw outward, shifting her weight onto her untouched limbs. In a single streak the femmora's pale paw flashed down into the darkened waters, casting small waves against the thin ice and shattering the still reflection of the sky. Inhaling sharply in shock the cold wove through her fur and bit at her skin but the soft pad of her paw pressed against the sleeping pebbles lining the bottom of the deep blue abyss. Sliding her eyelids over her glacial hued orbs, the fae took a shaky breath and threw herself into to the frozen waters.
The water slowly engulfed the fae's ivory pelt and dragged her downwards. Feeling her paws press against the uneven bottom, the fae quickly pushed herself upward, standing in the pool which reached up to her flank and escaped over its containment. Turning her neck, the fae eyed her acquired wound. Her fur had been restored to its original white contrast and fell over top of the puncture wounds, hiding them from sight. The sneering burning agony subsided, numbed by the chilling waters leaving a blissful coolness throughout her muscles. Bunching up her mussels, the fae crouched down in the water and pushed herself upward sending up a spray of water and clearing the barrier of ice as she landed on the pond's bank. Trotting away swiftly back to the den, her fur damp and pain relieved the fae could not help but feel hollow inside, almost as if something was missing.

Post by Amethyst Fri Sep 27, 2013 11:08 am

Amethyst woke up a while later, looking around her, vision a bit blurry. She gave a yawn as cool air entered inside of the den, deep where she was at the moment. She looked down again, seeing the soft moss that she had collected from when Shadow was helping her to find something for her bed. She thought for a minute. Where was Shadow?? She grabbed the moss and slowly got up. Seeing a wolf figure with an ivory pelt, recognizing that was indeed her friend. She walked up to her and slowly dropped the moss. "Hey Shadow. You were gone for quite a long time. Well, what should we do about this moss? How are we going to turn it into a bed like substance?" She smiled at her and waited for the female to answer.

The Koti Den - Page 26 Siggie12
Maneuvering around the cliffs and occasional hills, the fae's swift pace steadily decreased until she was walking at a leisurely pace. Sweeping her gaze over the terrain and swiveling her ears forward, she remained alert for the beast, waiting for its wounded frame to be visible on the crest of a hill or an overlooking cliff. Drawing closer to the den a sense of relief swept through her, she was glad to be back but the hollowness inside prodded at her like a thorn stuck in her paw. Trusting her intuition, the glacial pools locked on each wolf, searching for wounded of absences. The wolves who had fought the dark beast alongside her had gone their separate ways, no doubt seeking to fulfill their duties. Her optics rested on a grey dappled fae emerging out of the den carrying a ball of mass loosely twisted to fit into her jaws. Steering her direction toward the femmora, Shadow approached the darker toned fae and noticed how much larger she seemed. "Hello Amethyst," the ivory toned fae said greeting her friend before responding, "I have been roaming about the territory making sure the beast was gone." Falling into the habits of her past pack life, the fae told half of the truth. "If we claw at it perhaps we can loosen some of the moss making it softer?" The fae asked, eyeing the rolls of moss upon the ground.

Amethyst tilted her head and smiled at Shadow. Listening to her suggestion of making the moss softer to make a bed, she kinda liked that idea. "That's a great idea! I like that". She looked at the moss again and started clawing at it a little. It did seem to be a little softer the way she did. "Doing this should make it very soft in no time. Will you help me?" She smiled and waited for her friend to respond.

Dark's torn ear flicked about as he growled quietly, having no luck in finding the bear and continuing his fight. He instantly froze when a familiar scent reached his nose, an all too familiar scent.
Death.
Dark's head snapped to where the scent was coming from, he smelt it again and found the scent of an unfamiliar wolf, and Ihana, the wolf who found him intruding on the pack's territory. Dark charged straight towards it, his mind focused on one thing.
Protecting the pack that helped him.

The moment Dark finally arrived on the scene, he instantly felt his rage almost explode. He saw Ihana lying on the ground, dead. They were the first pack wolf to make contact with him without assaulting him instantly. That was the main reason his rage had almost erupted, another was that he felt like he had failed his role in the pack, as a Pranice. Dark could barely get the words out of his mouth without trying to stop himself from tearing this wolf (Chemical) to shreds. "Why have you done this?!" Dark snarled loudly as his claws sank into the ground, his whole body shook with anger and his red eyes burned with rage.

CHEMICAL
------------

Violence is my middle name

The humongous male looked as a black male bolted toward him, and he glowered. His wide open maw dripping with drool and blood from his victim, his green eyes glowed with open malice. Insanity filled him, and he raised his head to let loose a menacing howl. He felt power surge through his body, and he looked completely insane with the fur the now dead she-wolf had pulled loose sticking up and his eyes wide open, and his tongue poking out of his mouth. Padding over to the small he-wolf in large strides, his large white paws thumping onto the milky snow. He waited until he was very close to this wolf, his green eyes staring into the others red ones, and lowered his muzzle to be on a level with the other wolf's. He let out a unexpected loud and ominous snarl, and he bowled the he wolf over. His mind was filled of visions of a dead family, his father's glazed gaze, his mother's dying breath. Psychotic as he was with his hunger, these memories demented him even more. He stood, waiting for any wolf to defy him, his teeth glimmering as he snarled.

The Koti Den - Page 26 Siggie12
"Of course I shall," the fae's responded to the dappled grey femmora's question. Reaching forward toward the pile of moss a flicker of movement in the fae's peripheral vision froze her mid reach. Lifting her snout toward the figures, the fae observed the darker toned wolf run by, his pace was certain and rang of urgency. "I'll be back," the fae whispered and darted after the dark frame. Keeping a respectable distance between herself and the dark toned wolf the fae closely followed him, as her jaws parted and breathing became heavier the stench of death stabbed within her.
Bolting down the decline, the fae skidded to a halt, her glacial optics widened at the scene before her. A taller built brute stood proudly over a small fallen figure. At once the fae noticed the black star half hidden in the kicked up snow and her jaws parted in shock, she knew the fallen wolf to be Ihana, the pack's beloved and playful Wache. Frozen in her tracks as if rooted to the ground, the fae's glacial hued optics snapped up to the brute and in an instant a feeling of familiarity struck down, raking across the fae's mental barrier and causing her heart to burn with in her. She knew the murderer…

Dark snarled loudly and stood up properly, realizing that he was the exact same size as the other wolf (Chemical) in size. His huge paws were ready to propel him forward at this intruder. "LAST CHANCE!!!" Dark snarled loudly, his teeth bared straight in the wolf's face. Usually, the thought of fighting with a wolf like this would fill Dark with excitement. But now, all he felt was rage. He glared straight into the wolf's eyes, seeing the psychopathic look in them. It reminded Dark of himself before he joined the pack, he would experience things like that sometimes, but it was always out of anger. Dark's torn ear and tail flicked about rapidly as his muscles tensed, preparing himself for the probable battle. He hadn't noticed Shadow was nearby as he growled loudly.
